Two-tier rule
Analytics without a cookie banner
Pulse is cookieless. You do not need a consent bar for our stats. GA4 often is blocked until Accept. That is a different product.
The two-tier rule
Tier A is Pulse. No tracking cookie. No localStorage id. Pageviews and events always send, including after Reject.
Tier B is anything you paste: GA4, GTM, HubSpot, Meta. Those wait for Accept. The bar exists only for that layer.
If you never paste extras, leave the banner off. You still get overview, realtime, pages, sources, events, geo, tech, campaigns and funnels.
If you still need Google
Keep GA behind the Pulse bar. Same event lands in our dashboard first, then we can POST to GA4 Measurement Protocol. Reject still counts here.
Compare: Pulse vs Google Analytics. How the bar works: cookie banner. What we store: privacy.
